Thank you for visiting our rentals section of the Macondo website. For your accommodation needs, we offer six unique bungalows located within the Macondo complex. All units offer secured entrances, private bathrooms, matrimonial, queen or king size beds, ceiling fans, bottled water and full/mini kitchen facilities. Surfboards, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels are available free of charge for our guests' pleasure. Each bungalow has a variety of games and books to read and we offer high speed Wi-Fi Internet throughout all bungalow areas. The beach and central plaza are only a five minute walk from Macondo, making your stay both comfortable and convenient. Guests are close to a variety of stores for shopping.

The Traveler Palm Bungalow
($45 USD per night)

Macondo offers two bungalows at $45 USD per night. The Traveler Palm, named for the thirty foot statuesque palm located in the gardens outside the bungalow, sleeps two comfortably in a queen size bed. This studio unit includes a private bath, closet and storage space, sofa, end tables and lamps.

A mini-kitchen area is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and kitchen utensils. Guests have a choice of dining at the table inside, or outside on the private veranda which overlooks our entry gardens. A ceiling fan and windows throughout provide great air circulation. The Sunrise Bungalow ($45 USD per night)

Located on our second floor, this unit is ideal for single guests or couples. Features include queen bed, window seat with a window facing east to catch the beautiful Sayulita sunrises, private bath and shower, plus a microwave, coffeemaker, refrigerator and eating utensils for your convenience. For more spacious living, we offer The Terrace, Rooftop Garden and Courtyard bungalows, each for $70 USD per night. In each there is availability for one to two extra persons at $10 USD per night, per person (12 years and over).

The Terrace Bungalow ($70 USD per night)

The Terrace is located on our second level and accommodates two to four people. A hideabed is available in the living room area for two extra guests, and there is room for a single portable bed, if necessary. Floor to ceiling wrought iron glass doors and windows surround the unit, and these can be opened to balconies on either side affording guests a view overlooking our entry garden as well as local views of the pueblo. For those who like to relax with a good book or take a siesta, a recliner is available.

Full kitchen facilities are available including refrigerator, stovetop with griddle, oven, microwave, blender, coffeemaker, toaster, and all utensils. A large bar area and kitchen table can seat six people and is ideal for families or entertaining. Our kitchen faces east and morning sunrays make it bright and cheerful. Spacious French doors open onto the tree shaded terrace allowing the cool ocean breezes to keep this room a comfortable temperature. Two ceiling fans add to your comfort.

Our Terrace unit offers a spacious bedroom with queen size bed, two large closets with shelves and additional storage space. French doors open on to a private balcony overlooking our garden area. Beautiful arched handmade wooden doors enhance the bedroom and bathroom and connecting private entrances to the bath area make it convenient for renters and their guests alike. The Courtyard Bungalow ($70 USD per night)

This second floor unit includes queen bed, living room with hideabed, recliner, end tables and coffee table, private bath with shower, and a spacious outdoor kitchen covered by a beautiful royal palapa. Those who like to cook and entertain will find this unit especially desirable with more than ample counter and storage space, stovetop, large refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker and blender, as well as all utensils.

Featured here is a bar area with bar stools and use of a portable gas barbeque. Guests will enjoy the common garden lounge area which offers a table and four chairs, plus an umbrella for shade. The Rooftop Garden Bungalow
($70 USD per night)

For those of you desiring unique accommodations, we offer our Rooftop Garden bungalow, located on the third floor. A beautiful staircase winding through our entry gardens leads you to this unit. This is "open air" living with a panoramic view of the pueblo and surrounding jungle areas. Enclosed by curtains and decorative walls for privacy, the bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed, armoire, chest of drawers, end tables and reading lamps. Falling asleep under the stars to the sound of waves breaking on the nearby shore make this unit a romantic favorite. (A roll down awning is available in case of inclement weather or for sun shade.) Bathroom with shower and separate sink area is enclosed. This unit will accommodate 4 people.

Our rooftop unit offers full kitchen facilities, a standing barbecue, a hammock for relaxing, kitchen table and chairs, as well as comfortable living room furniture. Guests are surrounded by a variety of palms and flowering plants to complete the garden setting.

A beamed and tiled roof covers the kitchen, dining and living room area. Living room is furnished with two sofas, including a queen hide-a-bed, and a coffee table, great for reading and relaxing as well as entertaining guests. An arched railing surrounds the unit on two sides and piggy-backed walls with arches and trailing plants add to the uniqueness of this bungalow.

One of the distinct features of this bungalow is a palapa-covered lounge area complete with sofa/day bed (can serve as an extra bed), wet bar, built-in end tables, lamps and a dining set. This area is accessible by a spiral wrought iron staircase and is an excellent place to enjoy those classic Sayulita sunsets and breezes, as well as views of the ocean and pueblo. The Toscana Bungalow ($60 USD per night)

Our newest bungalow, The Toscana, is located on our ground floor and is ideal for 1-2 persons. This unit rents for $60 USD per night and features include king bed, full bath, living room and dining area and full kitchen. It is currently under construction and pictures and a more complete description will be available upon completion in the fall.

All prices include 1-2 people, with a $10 USD per person, per night charge for additional guests. Children under 12 years stay for free.

Terms: 50% deposit required to confirm your reservation. Balance due upon arrival in dollars, pesos (at current exchange rate) or traveler’s checks (U.S. funds).
